For existing CMR-JET desktop customers: an honest migration path for what’s already supported today, and clarity on what isn’t (yet). The website does not force a migration — the desktop application stays available as long as you need it.
No forced switch
CMR-JET (cloud) and CMR-JET desktop run side by side. We do not switch off the desktop application ourselves and do not tie an end date to your existing licence via this website. You decide whether and when to move.
Migration is self-service by default. Extra guidance is available on request, but is not a condition — you can run the whole path yourself.
Why move anyway
The cloud version offers things that aren’t (easily) available in the desktop app. No pressure — but an honest picture of the difference.
Draft and consult CMRs from any workstation with a browser, without VPN or remote desktop to a fixed PC.
Confirmations via QR, with the photo of the signed CMR, land directly on the right document, with timestamp and context. No more loose photos or emails.
Colleagues work in parallel on the same documents and favourites, with role-based access per organisation.
The archive is isolated per organisation and searchable by reference, date and party. Evidence stays tied to the CMR.
Start a trial with representative own data and judge the workflow before deciding on further steps.
What you bring along
The cloud version picks up your drafted documents and favourites from the desktop app. The import wizard shows per file exactly what comes along — you don’t have to retype anything by hand.
Drafted CMR documents move into your organisation’s central, searchable archive.
Saved parties, references and favourite categories come along, so repeat work disappears in the cloud too.
The import wizard reports per upload what was processed and what may need attention — step by step.
Honest about customisation
Heavily customised templates do not transfer one-to-one automatically; you rebuild them easily in the cloud editor. The wizard makes it clear up front what that means in your situation, so you’re never caught by surprise. Until then everything on the desktop simply keeps working.
How migration goes
No mandatory intro session and no fixed contact needed to start.
Create an organisation and sign in. The desktop install doesn’t have to stop — both can run in parallel.
Use the existing desktop export to pull your documents and favourites — in one go.
In the cloud app you pick an import path per file. The wizard reports per upload the number of processed documents and warnings.
Imported documents and favourites appear in the archive and favourites list. You decide when to retire the desktop.
