Workflow

From document to signed proof and archive

The pages and buttons follow the same order as how a CMR moves through your organisation — one continuous workflow.

1
Draft the CMR

Fill in parties, goods and references. Fields come from your company settings, so repeat work disappears.

2
Share or print

Print the document, or send the PDF to whoever prints it. The CMR travels on paper, with a QR code for confirming receipt.

3
Confirm via QR (guest)

The recipient or driver confirms through the QR code, no account needed, and takes a photo of the signed CMR. Timestamp and context are captured with it.

4
Capture evidence

Add photos, scans and remarks as evidence. Everything is tied to the correct document.

5
Archive and retrieve

Documents and evidence land in your own isolated, searchable archive. Retrieval is by reference or party.

Core functionality

What CMR-JET offers today

Every feature below is in the release scope. What CMR-JET does not do is on the Proof & compliance page.

CMR drafting and templates

Draft documents from your company data, with validation of required fields and reuse of saved parties.

Print your own CMR on A4

In the Netherlands (no fixed form) and Germany (formfrei, §408 HGB) you print your full CMR straight on blank A4. Belgium is an exception: blank CMRs there come from an accredited printer — for BE, CMR-JET writes the data in overlay mode onto the pre-printed form. Export to PDF is always available.

Confirmation via QR (guest)

Recipients and drivers confirm through a QR code, without an account. The signature stays on the paper CMR; CMR-JET captures a photo of it, with timestamp and context, as operational evidence.

Evidence trail

Photos (including the signed CMR) and scans are captured as events around the document.

Central archive

Searchable per-organisation archive with reference, date and party filters.

SaaS basics

Self-serve sign-up, user management and subscription, no local installation.

Proof and archive

How evidence and archive work

Evidence stays tied to the document via an event model. The Proof & compliance page goes deeper into the legal context.

Event model

Every change, confirmation and piece of evidence is captured as an event with timestamp and actor.

Evidence by document

The photo of the signed CMR, extra photos and scans stay attached to the CMR they relate to.

Changes remain visible

The event and evidence model makes later edits recognisable, without promising absolute compliance guarantees.

Out of scope

What CMR-JET does not do

One thing, done well — no TMS complexity. CMR-JET is deliberately limited to CMR work and the evidence around it, so it stays simple for those who want exactly that digitised.

No route planning

CMR-JET does not plan trips, optimise routes or track driving and rest times.

No fleet management

Vehicle, fuel or maintenance records belong in a TMS or fleet-management system.

No customs declarations

CMR-JET does not handle customs formalities and is not a Peppol access point.

Not a TMS replacement

A Transport Management System solves different problems. If you need that, a TMS fits better — CMR-JET sticks to the CMR piece.
